With his Wedding DJs project, Boris, also known as Ritual Cycles, starts this remix out in his trademark psychedelic techno style. However, things quickly morph as it develops; a dreamy, idealistic sample sprinkled on a heavy, solid beat. It’s an unexpected combination that works marvellously, making for an uplifting daydream (or semi-conscious nightdream) with its feet firmly fixed in a four-on-the-floor.
